Making Homemade baby food is NOT as hard as it seems!
In addition to being easy it will keep all those preservatives OUT of your babies systems.

What you need...

  • A medium size cooking pot
  • Food processor or blender
  • Stainless steel steamer basket (these tend to be less expensive and also are guaranteed to be BPA Free)
I suggest that you start with the veggies first and do them in the Green, Yellow, Orange order which will then lead into fruits.  By following this order you introduce the less sweet foods first which will make it easier for you, once you do start introducing the sweeter foods, to switch back and forth.

On this site you will find the pattern I followed, which is only a suggestion, starting with

Stage 1 foods 4-6 months

Stage 2 foods 6-8 months

Stage 3 foods 8-10 months

Stage 4 foods 10-12 months
